Photo Of The November Edition : Cabbage Roses

Are These Roses?..Well, take a closer look at these flowers as they amaze you for a moment.

These are Cabbage Roses, mostly popular in European countries. Some say that they are hybrid varieties of Cabbage or Kale plant and Rose plant but not very sure.

And if you are wondering as to why it is the best photo of our November edition is because it is more popular during this season.

Cabbage Roses are favourite flowers for late fall and snow season as they withstand frost and snow. One of the specialities of the flowers is that it starts getting colourful as the weather gets cooler.

The Kale Roses are available in three colours White, Pink and Rose. These plants are mostly the garden plants for November, December and January.

They don't demand much water, no fertilizer and Sun. Note that you plant them on a Sunny day.

If you like them, you must come to Germany.

Tokyo's Ueno Park: Best Sakura Park 2012

Sakura Gardens in Tokyo is one of the best Cherry Blossom spots this year. The Ueno Garden looked splendid with Sakura (meaning Cherry Blossom) trees and the Japanese crowd had a good time here. The Japanese landscape has many historical buildings amidst these beautiful flower trees. Here are some wonderful pictures by Ranjan Benne.
