The trees would be going bald and the water gets freezing. You will see localites very well dressed for winters. Their jackets, accessories, stockings and hats look fashionable and apt for the season.
If Summers are for Beer then Winters are for Glu Wine. The boiling hot Wine tastes like a Herbal Hibiscus tea and makes you feel warm for the season.
Fussen in the Bayern State of Germany is the most scenic spot. The beauty is synonymous to Switzerland. Swiss, off-late, has become too commercial but Fussen, on the other side, is peaceful and calm as many aren't aware of this natural beauty.
What Is Fussen Famous For?
Ludwig's Neuschwanstein Castle is one of the architectural wonders in Fussen. The castle is a creative masterpiece and very fairytale like.
Neuschwanstein was built by the orders of the Bayern King Ludwig 2. It has about 4-5 floors comprising of servant quarters, the royal kitchen, music room, Ludwig's bedroom, dressing room, Chapel and much more.
There are many more castles in Fussen like Hohenschwangau castle which is yellow gold and looks as wonderful as Neuschwanstein.
What Should Travellers Observe?
Although all the German cities are clean, Fussen is far more cleaner and traveller friendly.
I say traveller friendly because of the conveyance. Youngsters can walk all the way to the top of the castle while the oldies can prefer a bus or a horse carriage.
Even the entry to the castle is planned very well. Every visitor is given a token and the digital system flashes number at the entrance. With this, the queue system gets simple and free from confusion.
