Favourite Destinations Of Indian Film Legends

For many, legends like Amitabh Bachchan, Rajnikanth are prominent role models than the present super stars as they have been reigning the industry from decades and have remained a nostalgia to the young as well as the older generation.

Their movies are ever favourite and dialogues, needless to say. Whenever they make a new comeback on big screen, there is a wave and people just love them for more than what they are.

If you ask the older lot, they say that these actors are (in real) good human beings too, humble and are known for making decent movies. Their movies hardly have double meaning dialogues and most of the time based on "good winning over bad" concepts.

These stars made family oriented films and rose to greater heights. They are also known for the clean image and spiritual interests. If Amitabh is called the Bhisma of Indian Cinema then Rajnikanth is, undoubtedly, the Thalaivar.

Today, I shall let you know the favourite holiday destinations of these film veterans with some more in the list. Take a look.

1. Amitabh Bachchan - Although we are aware of Amitabh's personal liking for Bengaluru (the city that gave him a re-birth), he is many times quoted as saying that he likes London and San Francisco.
The legendary actor, apparently, prefers the Presidential Suite at St. James Court as it offers a private gym and lift facilities to the parking area. He is also said to have a liking for Goa.

2. Rajnikanth - Many of his fans would rightly guess that their star prefers a spiritual trip to the Himalayas. He is many a times in news for the same reason. The actor prefers the holy journey to be very low profile by dressing up in a mere Kurta Pyjama and an unshaven look.
Not many know that Thalaivar also visits Bengaluru often as it reminds him of the good old days before his star career.

3. Rajkumar - The late Kannada legendary actor, always called as 'Annavru' (big brother) by fans, preferred his hometown Gajanur for holidays. The actor, always quoted for simplicity, liked to spend a good time with family and friends than travelling elsewhere.
He was, in fact, kidnapped by bandit Veerappan from his Gajanur's cottage and was later released unharmed after 100 days.

4. Chiranjeevi - The megastar of Tollywood is said to be a homely man and spends quality time with family. According to fans, the Tourism Minister of AP is also said to have a liking for Munnar (in India) and London (abroad).

5. Mohanlal - The Malayalam legend is also popular in the Hindi industry. He lives with his family in Kochi, Kerala and is a passionate traveller.
Not many know that the Malayalam veteran likes Dubai and even owns an apartment in Burj Khalifa (one of the most expensive in world). He also likes Ooty in India and has built a house to spend his holidays.
