It will be surprising to know that Gangtok, the north eastern city of India has many things that the world needs to know. They eat organic vegetables, use paper bags and follow cleanliness strictly. The beauty of mountains, the view of Kanchanjunga, tasty Tibetian momos and quality herbal tea can make you feel purified within no time. It was my first visit to the north east part of India and I was taken by surprise with the glimpse of this undiscovered destination.
No its not a party place, the shopping streets are close by 8:00 PM but there's something that attracts you to come and visit over and over again. Friendly people, old Bollywood songs played on Bose speakers of MG road, roller coaster journey to 12,310 ft high Tsomgo lake are never seen and heard experiences. All in all, this is just a version of my Gangtok trip but there may be many more twists to your travel tale.
