I know many of these flowers. As you have pointed out, they are really beautiful. Some of them used to seem more abundant when I was younger. Nowadays, I don't see them so often. I am hoping that's because of changes in my own travel patterns and not because they are dying out.
ReplyDeleteI know that at least two of them have medicinal uses. I don't know about the others but they look lovely. I grew up with the full red version of the flower in the last photo. The common name for it where I live is "shoe black".
