Why Hindus Prefer Badri Yatra Than Any Other Travel?

When the land is so pure with the birth of Ganga (Ganges), when the land is fertile with the Jujube (Badri) trees and with the history of deities always preferring to be in this heavenly abode (the Himalayas), the place will undoubtedly be spiritual and sacred to all nature lovers, believers of faith and culture. The badri yatra is the most spiritual trip in India. For hindus, it is the journey that leads to the gates of heaven.

Normally, people wish to travel to Badri at the later stages of life when all the family responsibilities are done to an extent (the period of Vanaprastha).

The travel will mostly be during the months May until September. There are good hotels, mutts and ashrams for accomodation. It will be surprising to know that most temples in India serve food for free.

Even at Badri, you find Dhabas on the way that serve for free or meager amount as a service to lord Badri Narayan. The food is freshly made, hot and clean.

With the view of Ganga and mighty mountains, people walk or hire jeeps from Haridwar to Badri ashram and that is the final yatra. The vishwaroopa darshan of Badri narayan is what all devotees would long to see and get ready at 4:00 AM for the pooja and aarti.

The valley of flowers, Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok and Saraswati river are the other sightseeing attractions. For the new generation, it is sacred as well as adventurous to be a part of Badri yatra.

The best part of the Badri yatra is that that which ever part of society or status one belongs, he will have the apt accomodation and food to his budget. He is free from stress, he is detached from the busy world and spiritually awakened.

Take a look at some best pictures of the Badri yatra.
